Sad to read my very best friend in college has passed. He and I did so many things together and I simply did a search to get in touch with him. I will have to get in touch with Lisa and David, the children of Dan and Fran.

We will sadly miss our dear friend here at SOV Howland. Dan was always willing to help when needed. From taking people to appointments and Friday lunches who could not drive, to air in all our bike tires to keep us biking. His endless great throws during Bocce always brought us a win along with the trophey in 2023 against the other SOV campuses. His little dog was our mascot and we miss her too. I always made extra perogies for him at our covered dish because he said I made them just like his wife did. Always a smile when he talked of his family and especially when his granddaughter planted the yearly flower bed. He shared those flowers with us if we ever wanted a bouquet. His memory will remain with the many friends he made through the years. Our prayers of comfort go out to his family.
