Daniel Charles Milkovich

I miss Dan.

Dan was one of my most favorite neighbors, ever. He was so active and energetic, and I always looked forward to our chats, his stories and sharing our perceptions of the world. My thoughts and prayers for his family during this difficult time, and sudden and unexpected loss.

I met Dan Milkovich when we were in the 8th grade. Dan invited me to wrestling practice with him at Maple Heights High School. Dan taught me some wrestling moves and the way he demonstrated those moves and talked through them with me it began to click. Dan's most important virtue was his engaging personality, and his earnest desire to teach and help others. That was Dan's gift to many who he had touched. Thank you, my friend. Mike Bekeny

My husband, Jim Manley, thought the world of the Milkovich boys. He always said that Danny was a great guy. I am so sorry for his passing. God bless you and your family. They had many drinks and laughs together.

I only met Dan one time, but he lived a great life, left a positive influence on many and will be truly missed.

Dan and I wrestled together in the late 1960s and into the 1970s at Kent State University. He was a friend and a great competitor. We reconnected in the last several years. I will miss him. Condolences to his family and Cathy. David L Herbert

Dear Daniel, As your aunt I was there watching you grow up as youngster growing up next door to Grandma's Milkovich's house on Rockside Road. Your family lived next door. They are very good memories of a life that was to come. Such a handsome, sweet young man with a big heart and a big smile. I loved then and I love you now. Our last contact was on Meet on my I Phone, last June. I wish there was more but you are gone now and you will always be in my heart. May the angels look after you now. Love, Your Aunt Dorothy
