Daniel Miller

Daniel Frank Miller, known as Dan to his friends and family, was called to his eternal home on February 23,2026, at the age of 82 in Palm Harbor, Florida. Dan was born on June 9, 1943, in Akron, Ohio, and moved to Florida as a young adult, where he made his home in Pinellas County. His life was a testament to his faith, his dedication to his loved ones, and his passion for life.

A proud graduate of East Carolina University, Dan furthered his education at Trust School laying the foundation for what would become a distinguished 40-year career in the estate and trust business. His professional life was marked by a profound commitment to helping others, as he guided his clients preparing for their future with wisdom and integrity. Dan's excellence in his field was recognized by his ascension to the role of Senior Vice President in banking before his well-earned retirement.

His beloved wife, Linda, stood by his side in every chapter of their journey together, sharing in the joys and the sorrows that life presented. Dan's legacy of love continues through his daughter, Danielle, and her husband David; his son, Matthew, and his husband LD; his stepdaughter, Laura, and her husband Jerrod; and his cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Abbey, who brought him immeasurable joy. His sister, Jean, and brother, Jim, will forever hold the memory of their brother close to their hearts. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Alvin: mother, Katherine; and brother Mike.

Dan's sense of adventure took him and his family to countless destinations, creating memories that would last a lifetime. His love for sports was unparalleled, a passion he both played and observed with enthusiasm. As an original and long-time season ticket holder of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dan was famously known as 'Superfan Dan' among sports talk shows, a title he wore with pride and joy.

Holidays held a special place in Dan's heart as they were synonymous with family gatherings, laughter, and love. His portrayal of Santa Claus at Christmas parties was legendary, as he brought smiles and warmth to both children and adults alike.

In every aspect of life, Dan was a man of honor, love, and joy. His absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him, but his spirit will live on through the lives he touched. The world is a better place because of Dan, and while we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life exceptionally well-lived.

A celebration of Dan's life will be held at a later date. The family welcomes donations to Suncoast Hospice in honor of Dan.
