Daniel earned his degree from Purdue University and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later worked as a design engineer at Caterpillar Tractor Company, where he dedicated 30 years of service before retiring.

Daniel was the devoted husband of Gloria with whom he shared 50 loving years of marriage. He was a proud and caring father to his two daughters, Nicole and Mandy.

Daniel enjoyed spending time on his boat and fishing, two activities that brought him great joy. He was also deeply devoted to his faith and was an active member of St. Thomas More Church in Elgin. For many years, he faithfully served the church as head usher. His love for God and his church community was an important part of his life.
