Daniel Thomas Paulus

Daniel "Dan" T. Paulus, 79, of Macedonia, Ohio, passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 6, 1946, in Stow, Ohio, to Thomas and Violet (Hartman) Paulus, Dan lived a life defined by devotion, laughter, and deep appreciation for family and friends.
A proud graduate of Stow High School's Class of 1965, Dan continued his education at Kent State University, earning a degree in Political Science in 1969. That same year marked one of the happiest milestones of his life when he married his beloved wife, Linda Major. Their marriage was a true partnership filled with love, adventure, and countless cherished memories.
Dan dedicated more than 30 years to a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, but his greatest fulfillment was always found at home. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Dan found pure joy in traveling with Linda and the family, cheering on milestones big and small, and spending treasured time with his grandchildren who were the light of his life.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda; his children, Connie (Rick) Pawlak, Michael (Carrie) Paulus, and Matthew Paulus; and his grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Alyssa, Brandon, Katelyn, and Grace. Dan also leaves behind his siblings, Charlie (Nancy), Jerry, Joan (Steve), and Kenny (Kim); his sister-in-law, Ardith; his brother-in-law, Bob; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were blessed to know him.
Dan was reunited in heaven with his parents, Thomas and Violet, and his siblings, George and Diane.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dan's life during a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd., Medina, Ohio. A memorial service honoring Dan's life will follow at 2:00 p.m.
