Beloved husband of Janice (nee Tomalczyk)
Loving father to Kris Penner and Amy Krantz. Adored "Grumpa" to Gwendolyn, Julianna, Scott Daniel Krantz and Bailey Penner.

Muriel (Eddie) Simmons, Donna (James) Thompson and Karen (Philip) Canniff
He also leaves behind his feline companions, Bootsy and Myrtle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Margaret, Cousin Ronnie (Donna) Krispin, sister in law Mary (Al) Hachey and brother in law Hilary (Jackie) Tomalczyk and his mother and father in law Casimir Joseph and Mary Louise (nee Fritz) Tomalczyk
Daniel served in Vietnam and was a man of few words. He was a gentle soul with the bluest eyes that would twinkle with amusement. He had an easygoing manner, enjoyed people, an occasional shot of whiskey and a game of chess or just watching the freighters go by. Dan was an avid woodworker with a shop in his garage making bowls, pens and other interests. He self taught to play the organ and played from memory without sheet music. He also loved to ride up and down the Clinton River in his tugboat for many years.
The family is planning a luncheon for a later date.
