Daniel "Danny" Raymond Phillips Sr, 83, passed away surrounded by family Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Medina, Ohio. Former husband of Mary Ann; Father of Mike Phillips (Loretta) of North Ridgeville, Ohio Susan Perez (the late Richard) of Strongsville, Ohio, Natalie Bayse (Brian) of Strongsville, Ohio, Daniel Phillips Jr (Crystal) of Parma, Ohio and Brian Phillips (Kerry) of Litchfield, Ohio; Grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Marcus, Alicia, Amanda, Richard, Adam, Austin, Brian, Ashley, Chad, Jack and Liam; Great-grandfather of Bryn, Bradley, Bennett, Sloan, Grant, Nolan, Ruby and Quinn; Son of the late Roy Jefferson Phillips and the late Cecilia Katherine Phillips; Brother of Jack, Constance, Linda, Janis, Paul, Norma, David, RJ, Celeste, Samuel and Carol. Uncle, cousin and friend to many throughout his life to include while serving in the U.S. Army (1961-1966), 17 years working at the Lake Erie Salt Mines, and being owner/operator of the Brookside Inn (Cleveland, Ohio).
