Daniel Pratt passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, in his home in Wilton NH. He was born Daniel John Pratt to Leon and Ellen Pratt on June 17, 1961 in Fitchburg, MA.
Dan grew up learning the value of hard at a young age. He started his career in landscaping and eventually started his own business, Groundworks Landscaping. He had a garden center on Route 13 in Milford NH. He then started Pratt Family Homes and worked with brother and father. He continued on with Groundworks landscaping till present day. He raised his three girls, Megan, Kristy and Hannah with then wife, Heather (White).
Dan was extremely hard working. He had an eye for making everything beautiful. He loved landscaping and creating beautiful landscapes for people. He had a strong spiritual faith and Christ conscious heart that guided him in life. He was an ordained minister and reiki healer.
He would give anything or help anyone he came across. Dan loved music, he would always be playing the piano or guitar and singing. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Especially at camp in Pittsburg NH, where they enjoyed the great outdoors, from hiking and kayaking and their favorite, snowmobiling.
Dan is survived by his fiancé Carol Joly of Fitchburg MA. Children, Megan (John) Robinson and grandchildren, Emery and Adelyn Robinson of Temple, NH, Kristy and Hannah Pratt of Temple, NH. Parents, Leon and Ellen Pratt of Rindge, NH, Siblings, Chris Pratt of Temple, NH, Robert(Ellen) Pratt of Wilton, NH, Shaun(Conrad) Pratt of Manchester, NH, and 3 nephews, 4 nieces and numerous extended family members.

In 2012, Dan was Remodeling a house in Nashua, and he needed a closet designer. I remember walking up to the house and he was on a ladder. I looked up. He looked down and I saw those beautiful blue green eyes that reminded me of the Caribbean. We worked on a number of projects together and I was one of his boarders as well and we were great friends. He was a beautiful soul, and I will miss him dearly

Dan was a great man with a huge heart. I was introduced to Dan many years ago by my good friend Maria. Dan and Maria did a lot of work together and were very close friends. Dan loved spending time with his daughters and scheduled time weekly or whenever he could. I thought it was very special he did movie nights with them, etc. He also worked extremely hard, was very busy all of the time, doing long days 6 days a week. He was the builder for my first floor and kitchen remodel in 2015. The photo is us celebrating the finished job. Dan and crew also installed our patio almost 4 years ago, it is beautiful. He was always on the go in between Pittsburg NH and Wilton. I am so sad to hear of his untimely passing, he will be missed!

We met Dan shortly after moving to Wilton. He helped us get our house in order to move in and installed a beautiful patio in our back yard. He spent time with us and we became friends as well as project partners. To all his many friends and family we offer our sympathy and condolences. In the game of life we will only meet a handful of good people Dan was in our handful God bless
