My Dearest Friend Dan, Its almost a year since you left us. I am glad that you have left a positive impact in my work life as well as my personal life. My very first time I met you, I was in awe. You have left an impression on me that makes me want to continue to push for Indian preference without fear. You always carried yourself in a manner that was impressive. Dan was a great colleague who truly fought to protect the rights of tribal nations. He will surely be missed by the EEOC and many others. Sincere condolences to Dan's family and friends.
