What a lucky girl I am to have married Ron & the result being the greatest in-laws anyone could dream of. Dan was/is & forever will be a man that I admire, love, & cherish. Dan made the most of his 93 years of life as we know it. God only knows what he is accomplishing now! I love you eternally. Kisses & Hugs until we meet again. Your daughter-in-law Karen

My husband became an Elk back in 1974. When I first met the Raggios, an immediate reaction to Dan and Goldie, what a charming couple. I shared many conversations with Dan about Ryerson Steel in Chicago.
Danny and Goldie were a class act and I am sure they are the added stars in our great heavens above. They will be missed by many family members and friends.

I remember Dan ..... pulling up in his car after work, and not parking in his own driveway because we were playing "strikeout" and battering the garage door as a backstop. He'd tell Goldie and the neighbors that the boys were building character - and they were. We turned out to be business leaders, judges, lawyers, authors, educators and even a MLB manager.
He loved watching his Bell Avenue Chargers and St. Cajetan Warrior footballers and cheerleaders on a crisp autumn Sunday. When Ronnie was named captain for the St. Bede game ( his former parish ) there could not have been a prouder father.
Whether dancing with Goldie, laughing with Doc,Nancy,Jerry and Mary Jane, putting golf balls, or even telling Ronnie to turn down certain 45 rpm rock and roll records, Dan exhibited a zest for life, kindness, and affability.
He made life on Bell Ave.better for all of us. Thank you,Dan - and God speed.
Prayers from all the Murphys in Oklahoma,Michigan,Chicago and still on Bell.

Dan was a warm, kind and loving person a real gentleman .He loved Goldie very much and all ways referred to as HIS Queen and that she was. He was a great family man.
Dan was a GREAT ELK in every sense, decanted to the Loyal Order of Elk's.
He served in many positions. He was always willing to help in anyway that he could.
Chris and I, were very happy to see Dan this past summer, as we had short visit.
I, will always treasure the found memories with Dan and Goldie.
Our deepest sympathies to the Raggio Family.

I have many fond memories of Mr. Raggio. He was great father and husband. I still recall watching he and Mrs Raggio dancing when at a wedding or party where dancing was encouraged. They were really good! As with all Bob's friend, Mr Raggio took in interest in me. He was a good listener who had a great sense of humor. In 1973 and '74 he hired me over Christmas break to chauffer his step father and business partner to see all their customers. I received great take home value from observing their interaction. Mr. Raggio was a great guy. I know he and Mrs. Raggio are in heaven doing a jitterbug right now.....
