Daniel Frederick Ritzman

Daniel Frederick Ritzman, 73, of Creston, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Ohio's Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Dan was born in Wadsworth on July 16, 1951 to Victor "Fred" and Doris (Buckingham) Ritzman and was a graduate of Wadsworth High School. He attended Owens Community College in Perrysburg and on March 30, 1984 married Cynthia Ann Sabo who survives. Dan retired from Medina Supply Co. in 2021 after 40 years of service and had made his home in Creston since 1989. Dan enjoyed farming, fishing and his family and he will be dearly missed.
Surviving is his wife, Cyndi, his children, Jonathon Ritzman of Creston, Katie and her husband Michael Brenner of Creston and Daniel J. and his wife Sierra Ritzman of Seville; his four grandchildren, Waylon Ritzman, Adeline and Lochlan Brenner and Charlie Rae Ritzman; his mother, Doris of Wadsworth and a sister, Becky Lockhart of Cincinnati.
Dan was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jeff Ritzman.
In honoring Dan's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Murray Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
