It was just four short years ago that we reconnected on The Enewetak Atoll Clean Up site, I was somewhat jealous of how well you looked after thirty five years.
I remember you well even though we were from different units, but we partied after work, you were still the one who offered encouragement to your brothers who were sick or had been sick and offered condolences to the widows of your fallen Brethren.

And then you got sick, we watched as you fought the good fight, even though you were sick you never ceased to encourage your friends and you always Blessed them in prayer with your mantra which would become your calling card Shabbat Shalom.

You indeed fought the fight, a leaser man would have given up long ago, but we all know the real reason you fought so hard, was because of your Great Love for your Beloved Holly.

You have fought the good fight and finished the race, and above all you have kept the faith.

Shabbat Shalom my Brother, for now you have Peace in our Fathers House.
