Mr. Daniel Sanchez, age 17 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 28th, 2026.
Daniel was born in Evanston, Wyoming on September 25th, 2008, and the son of Mr. Juan Sanchez and Luz Elena Jacobo. Daniel attended Sonoraville High School and was part of the graduating class of 2027. He was very intelligent, always excelling at anything he did. His hard work and dedication were shown through any task that he was a part of. He had an interest in learning about cars and enjoyed spending time working on them. In his free time, he liked playing video games, especially Minecraft. He was a caring uncle who enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephews, always making them laugh.
Survivors include his father and mother, Juan Sanchez and Luz Elena Jacobo; three sisters, Evelyn Sanchez, Stephanie Sanchez, and Jocelyn Sanchez (Ezequiel Ramirez); one brother, Sebastian Sanchez; niece, Sophia; three nephews, Ariel, Kai, and Elijah; grandmother, Maria Hernandez; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 10 AM at St. Clements Catholic Church with Father Vanderley Oliveira officiating. Honorary pallbearers include his classmates from the Sonoraville High School class of 2027.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 31st, from 5 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.

El Sr. Daniel Sánchez, de 17 años y residente de Calhoun, Georgia, falleció el sábado 28 de marzo de 2026.Daniel nació en Evanston, Wyoming, el 25 de septiembre de 2008, y era hijo del Sr. Juan Sánchez y de la Sra. Luz Elena Jacobo. Daniel asistió a la Escuela Secundaria Sonoraville (Sonoraville High School) y formaba parte de la promoción de graduados de 2027. Era un joven muy inteligente que siempre sobresalía en todo lo que emprendía. Su arduo trabajo y dedicación se manifestaban en cada tarea en la que participaba. Tenía un gran interés por aprender sobre automóviles y disfrutaba dedicando tiempo a trabajar en ellos. En su tiempo libre, le gustaba jugar videojuegos, especialmente Minecraft. Era un tío cariñoso que disfrutaba pasar tiempo con sus sobrinos, haciéndolos reír en todo momento.
Entre sus sobrevivientes se encuentran sus padres, Juan Sánchez y Luz Elena Jacobo; sus tres hermanas, Evelyn Sánchez, Stephanie Sánchez y Jocelyn Sánchez (junto a Ezekiel Ramírez); su hermano, Sebastian Sánchez; su sobrina, Sophia; sus tres sobrinos, Ariel, Kai y Elijah; su abuela, María Hernández; así como varios tíos y primos.
Se celebrará una Misa de Exequias el miércoles 1 de abril de 2026, a las 10:00 a. m., en la Iglesia Católica St. Clements, oficiada por el Padre Vanderley Oliveira. Los portadores honorarios del féretro serán sus compañeros de clase de la promoción de 2027 de la Escuela Secundaria Sonoraville
