Daniel Simms of Westerville, lovingly known as Danny by those closest to him, passed away peacefully on October 27th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy; his wife, Mary; his daughter, Decia; multiple sisters (Cherokee); his brother, Tim; his nephew, Kirk; and his great-nephew, Noah.
Danny was cherished by all who knew him and was often considered the life of the party. He had a passion for cooking for his friends and family, and he brought joy and warmth to every gathering. He was a devoted father, a loving and caring husband, and a man who never met a soul he couldn’t call a friend.
May he rest peacefully; not a second of a single day will pass when he isn't missed tremendously.
