I worked for Midway Airlines from 87 to 90 in Boston as a Gate Agent When I was going to AP School. Aircraft Mechanics school Dan could tell I loved airplanes and told me he used to also be a Mechanic. I remember I had to fly to Chicago and Dan let me fly in the jump seat upfront with him in the Flight Deck. It was the first time I ever got to do it. It was a very special time to me. Capt Speckman was allways very nice to me and I looked up to him as a Role Model. My deepest condolences to his friends and family. He was a great man. So sorry for your loss.
