Daniel D. Stangle

Daniel D. Stangle Greer , SC Daniel David Stangle, 66, of 2 Admiral Lane, died January 27, 2008. Born November 21, 1941 in Elmhurst, IL, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Stangle. He was well known as the square dance caller for the �Swinging Harts� in Hartwell, GA. He was predeceased by a son, Randy Stangle, a daughter, Kelly Stangle and by a sister, Sonya Stangle. Surviving is his wife, Kathy Meyer Stangle; his son, Danny Stangle of Augusta, GA; a sister, Maureen Neilson of Chicago, IL; his step-mother, Ruth Gault; two step-brothers, Dean Crosby of TN and Tom Crosby of KY and his best friend, �Buddy�. Services will be conducted Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM at The Mackey Mortuary with a private committal. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at the mortuary.
