One of eight children Daniel "Danny" was born on January 25th, 1940, in Palmyra Nebraska. Danny and Carol were married 67 years. He met his wife Carol when they were 15 and 16 years old and married in Harrisonville Missouri on August 2nd, 1958.
Born into their marriage were four children Susan, Danny jr, Pam and Marla.
Danny worked concrete most of his life until retiring in 1980. Danny loved to work on cars and tinker with anything that had a motor. He was a very hard-working man and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He constantly worried about their safety especially Carol. Danny never met a stranger and anybody that knew Danny would know he loved donuts.
His favorite thing to do was to play marbles any chance he got. At family events you would always see a marble board out. The Motto came from him "There's no friends in marbles" He also enjoyed playing Trump and I buy card games. Both of these traditions have lasted for years.
Danny is survived by his wife Carol, his daughters Susan Hartig (Mike) and Pamela Starforth-Jones (Terry).
He leaves behind his Grandchildren Scott, Sean, Kevin, Jeff, Tracy and Doug. He leaves behind Great Grandchildren Sierra, Makaelin, Bryce, Leighya, Jordan, Layla, Abram, Aubrey and Olivia. Great Great Grandchild Presley Kay.
Pre-deceasing him is his son Danny Jr and daughter Marla Jones. His mother Opal Wilson and his brothers Franklin, Tommy Richard and Jackie and his sisters Mary, Irene and Lucille.
Donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
