Daniel Allen Steiner

Daniel Allen Steiner, age 72, of Withee, WI entered his heavenly home

Monday, March 16, 2026, under the tender care of House of Dove

Compassus Hospice.

The son of Wendell and Carolyn (Clay) Steiner, Daniel Allen Steiner

was born on February 23, 1954 in Stanley, WI. While in high school he

participated in cross country and played the trombone. Daniel graduated

from Owen-Withee in May of 1972. He went on to attend UW-River

Falls from 1972-1975 and later attended the Moraine Park Technical

College where he would obtain an Associates Degree in Food

Technology and Processing.

Daniel worked for a number of years at various cheese production

facilities in central Wisconsin before joining the USDA as a Consumer

Safety Inspector. He worked for the USDA in a variety of locations

including , western Michigan, Milwaukee, and central Wisconsin until

his retirement in 2016.

Daniel had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed exploring the Midwest. He

enjoyed fishing and camping and was a passionate tennis player. He will

be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Daniel is lovingly survived his six siblings: Richard (Sandra) Steiner of Umatilla, FL, Christopher( Rebecca) Steiner of Withee, WI, Gary(Angelica) Steiner of Queretaro, Mexico, Patricia Steiner of Withee, WI, Anne (Dan) Weibel of Lacrosse, WI and Lorraine of

Minneapolis, Mn. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

at Community Alliance Church in Withee, with Pastor Andy Davis

officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 1:00 p.m. until

the time of service. Maurina Schilling Funeral home is entrusted with

the funeral arrangements.
