Daniel C. Stickney

Great memories of Dan from scouting at Melita to schools at Lincoln, Rattlesnake, Hellgate and MSU. He was always a kind gentle and humble soul - and a great friend. I will miss him!

Dan was one of my best childhood friends. We would hike waterworks hill, ski, play kick- the-can and play a lot of football. One particular funny incident was at our family cabin on Flathead Lake. The two of us, sharing a mattress on the floor, could not stop laughing, so my mother Lela Autio sent us to the bunkhouse. We got ourselves so frightened of the dark that we pled to come back into the cabin, behaving ourselves. Dan was an eagle scout, and accompanied our troop on Melita Island. I remember many a laugh with my good friend and neighbor Dan.

Dan was in the SAE fraternity at the University of Montana. He was a great guy, always had a smile and a positive attitude, really fun to be around. He was also a great athlete on ou intramural teams. He was a friend to everyone in the house. I´m so sad to hear of his passing.
