Daniel B. STRINGER

Dan was a great guy. I flew with him and lived in the same pilot crew house with him in the Great Lakes airlines days. I have many fond memories of flying with him. He is missed.

May God give you the needed strength to endure at this difficult time. You have my deepest sympathy.

I both lived and flew with Dan while based in Escaba, Mi. back in the early 1990's. We were young but had fun. I flew co pilot to Dan for a while and he was among the best pilots I had ever flown with to this day. He was a true mentor to me. I was one of the few pilots he let join him on a QB outing. We had a great time, and we had many laughs in the time we were based together at Great Lakes Airlines.
I was truly sad to hear of his passing.

Sorry to hear of Danny's passing after such a prolonged battle. My love always, Cousin Terry.

I have a short list of those who really have made a difference in my life. Dan is on it. Even though we only saw each other once or twice a year, he would always push me to apply for an airline pilot job. I finally did it, got hired, and enjoyed the best years of my life. Thank you, Dan. Sincere condolences to his family.

My sincerest condolences to his entire family. It saddens me deeply. I crewed with Dan on the Boeing 727 at Northwest Airlines. He was a true professional. I will miss his incredibly hysterical wit and sense of humor.
