The funeral service/ memorial service for Dan Strohl, 61, will be held from 4pm-8pm (Service will begin at 7p.m.) on Monday July 28, 2025.
He was born on February 5th, 1964 and grew up in Terre Haute, IN. He passed away suddenly at home in Vernon Hills, IL on July 22, 2025.
Dan worked for Machined Products as a production's supervisor for almost 30 years. He was in the Army and stationed at Ft. Sheridan where he met his beautiful wife, Jill.
His favorite things to do were tend to his beautiful and bountiful garden where he grew all kinds of flowers and vegetables. Spending time with his dogs Murphy and Rip, Camping, hiking, exploring national parks, skiing, Jeep rides, cooking, and spending time with his wife, kids, and grand-babies.
He is survived by his wife Jill Strohl of almost 37 years, children Randi Strohl (Jeremy Shaw) of Round Lake, IL, Danny Strohl (Wesley Streit) Willowbrook, IL. His cherished grandchildren Addyson Strohl, Jaxxon Shaw, grandpuppy Lola, grandkitty Harvey. Son in law to Vincent and Barbara Amodeo. Extended family including Brother and sister in laws Brad Amodeo, Sharyl Amovitz, Kerri Danicic (Ned Danicic). His loved nieces and nephews Grace, Joe, Kevin (Kelly and son Liam) Amodeo, Haley and Kyle Danicic, Paige McGuire, David Hussung.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Jeanne Strohl and Harry E. Strohl.
