Daniel Raymond Szurgot

Daniel Raymond Szurgot, age 90, of Allouez, passed away on June 2, 2023. Daniel was born on April 30,1933 to the late Stephan and Leona (Gola) Szurgot in Milwaukee, WI. Daniel attended South Division High School and later completed his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He was an office manager at two Milwaukee firms before coming to Green Bay and working at Hermann Business Machines. On April 30,1977 Daniel married Denise Mineau at Resurrection Catholic Church. Daniel enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work and gardening, bowling, and adding stamps to his collection.
He is survived by wife, Denise; his in-laws; James and Barb Mineau, Janine Mineau, Martha Lefebvre, Monica and Dick Roel, Mary DeKeyser, Tim and Tina Mineau; special friend, Rick Moens; Godchildren, Kevin Moens and Molly Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Stephan and Leona Szurgot; brother, Edward Szurgot; sister, Irene Szurgot; mother-in-law, Monna Mineau; father-in-law, Robert Mineau; brother-in-law, Jon Mineau; nephew, Matthew Mineau.
Family and friends may gather at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Green Bay, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Fr. Tom Reynebeau presiding. Daniel will be laid to rest at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Daniel's name can be made to St. John's Homeless Shelter, Unity Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
