My condolences to the Tack girls and families on Dan's passing. A great friend and the Rochester and Clayton community has loss a great benefactor. Dan and I hit it off from the first WXXI auction working together and our friendship grew over the next thirty years with our yearly meeting in Clayton. No one can forget his words of wisdom or the artists and cronies party at the Clayton home your Mom and he hosted. I can still remember my last assignment at the last dinner I attended was to hand out the dessert and collect the dessert dishes. A generous man to his friends or a cause he believed in. RIP my friend.

We have very fond memories of Dan at the river. Jack and Dan were very good friends and are probably fishing and golfing together in heaven! They shared many business interests as well. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. We are so sorry for your loss. Dan contributed so much of his time to many worthy causes and so many people are grateful for his services. We visited Dan often at his river home by boat and remember how much fun we had with him. Cherish the memories. Ann Vosburgh and family

Consider yourself blessed if you had the chance to enjoy a conversation with Dan Tack. The staff of The Mendon House loved this man as he treated us with respect and friendship always. His service to others was beyond impressive. He inspired many to us to give our time to service others in need and to always count our blessings. Heaven welcomed an amazing angel this Fall. May he rest in peace and know he was so loved by so many.
Cherish the memories,

Hi Leslie and Linda and Elaine. I am truly saddened to hear of your father's passing, as I have thought of him and you all often. I have fond memories of your family from many years ago, and I am sorry that circumstances have kept us years apart. I fondly remember coming out to your house and having your father taking us all snowmobiling in NY so many years ago. And of him goose and duck hunting in Dixon. And skating on the Rock River. Your father and your mother were extremely caring and kind. I know that no matter where you are, they will both always be watching over you. What an amazing team your parents were, and what a remarkable life your parents lived. I feel so lucky that I got to know him many years ago, and sincerely wish that we had all kept closer in touch over the years. We are all keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers as we celebrate the life of a great man and mourning his passing with you. My deepest condolences. Bill
