Daniel “Dano” Robert Taylor, a cherished resident of Longwood, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, at the age of 61. Dano was born on August 26, 1963 in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania to Robert and Particia Taylor; the third oldest to their four sons.
At the age of 14, Dano’s family moved to Longwood, Florida where he embraced opportunities and created a life filled with joy and cherished memories. Dano attended and graduated from Lyman High School in 1980. For three decades, Dano proudly worked in the community and with his warm smiles and caring natures. He was a devoted husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle to name a few of many family hats he wore. His passions were simple but yet profound; he found joy in watching his Dallas Cowboys, Penn State, and the “Fighting Irish” Notre Dame. He also loved to barbecue in order to unify his family and make memories. Dano also loved to travel with his wife all over the world to visit his two sons that were in the active duty Army.
Dano is survived by his wife, Ana Luz Taylor; their two children: Ana Maria Piniero and Ramon “Raymond” Vargas. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Augusto “Tito” Piniero, whom he now joins in eternal rest. He is also survived by his precious seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The love that Dano shared extended to many nieces, nephews, and countless friends, all of whom will hold his memory dear in their hearts.
As we remember Dano, let us celebrate the warmth he brought to our lives and the love he gave so freely. He will be missed deeply but forever cherished in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Final words from his wife, Ana Taylor of 28 years of marriage:
“My sweetheart with you, I’ve found my safe place. Your love comforts and protects me. I am so thankful for every moment we shared together. You are my everything.”
