Daniel Pruitt "Danny" Underwood

Daniel" Danny" Pruitt Underwood, born January 2, 1946, in Baytown, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, in Baytown.

Danny had a deep love for listening to music and reading a good book. He was a talented woodworker who found great joy in building bookcases and bringing whatever ideas came to mind to life through his craft. Danny also enjoyed creating stained glass and had a special gift for designing unique and beautiful pieces of art. His creativity and dedication to his hobbies brought happiness not only to himself but to those who admired his work.

He is preceded in by his sister Kay Ellen Bowers.

He is survived by his loving family: daughter Kristen Underwood; son Max Underwood; daughter Danielle Conley; son Christopher Underwood; and daughter Stephanie Behr. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Underwood, and sister-in-law Frances Underwood, Brother Buddy Underwood along with numerous other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sterling-White Cemetery.

Danny will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
