To Dan´s Family:

Just the other day, I was in my old neighborhood in Peabody, MA at a neighborhood reunion. Those of us who had Mr. Wholley for 5th Grade at Farnsworth School (circa 1972) were the envy of our peers. Mr. Whooley was cool. I remember playing the dictionary game, where he would challenge the class to read a dictionary definition, and he would guess the word (no proper nouns please.). I don´t think we ever stumped him. A kind and inspirational teacher who, for me, instilled a curiosity and love of learning.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Sincerely
Woody Rollins

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of our dear friend and brother in Christ. His steadfast faith, warm spirit, and joyful dedication to his Catholic Faith, our parish, and the Men's Club touched every life he encountered. We will forever cherish his friendship and the example of Christian charity he lived by. We are truly better Catholics and better people for having known Dan, a true man, quiet, courageous, and truthful. May God grant him eternal peace and comfort all who mourn, especially his wife and family. Our prayers and hearts call for the repose of his soul and the consolation of his loved ones.

With sincere sympathy and faith,

Mitch, Annmarie Saba, and Family
