Daniel “Dan” William Wright, age 46, of Carlisle, died at home on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Dan was born on Friday, June 23, 1978, in Carlisle to Verna “Peach” Gladys (Darbrow) Wright and the late Barry Edwin Wright. In addition to his father, Dan is preceded in death by his aunt: Blanche (Darbrow) Michael; and his uncle: Spurgen Darbrow.
Dan’s survivors include his mother: Verna “Peach” Gladys (Darbrow) Wright of Carlisle; his uncle: Alfred Darbrow and wife Carol, of Dillsburg.
Dan graduated from Cumberland Valley High School. He spent most of his life working as a contractor for several companies. Dan collected baseball cards, Pokémon cards and guns. He had a passion for horse racing and betting on the events. He also enjoyed NASCAR races and hunting.
All are welcome to Dan’s memorial service on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at Why at the Well, 17 E. Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, with Pastor Bob Kauffman officiating. Cremation was private.
