TOPEKA - Daniel M. Yoder, 84, of Topeka, (district: 33), Indiana, died at 8:02 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 19, 1940, in LaGrange County, Indiana, to Monroe and Mattie (Yoder) Yoder.
On Sept. 24, 1964, in Noble County, Indiana, he married Ida Irene Miller. She preceded him in death on July 5, 2023.
Surviving are nine children, Kenneth (Tami) Yoder, of Ligonier, Eugene (Loretta) Yoder, of Cromwell, Carol Yoder and Susan (Norman) Miller, both of Topeka, Doris (Glen) Miller, of Shipshewana, Loretta (Floyd) Lehman and Rosetta (Dennis) Lambright, both of Topeka, Becky (Dave) Stutzman, of Middlebury and Monroe (Anika) Yoder, of Fort Wayne; 40 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and brother, Orvan (Ruth) Yoder, of Rome City.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two grandsons, Corbin Eli Yoder and Austin Daniel Yoder; and a great-grandson, Jordan Dale Lambright.
Daniel was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, and after 10 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at the family's residence, 5255 S. 900W, Topeka.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at the Elmer Jr. Yoder residence, 9080 W. 500S, Millersburg.
Services will be conducted by Bishop LaVern Lambright and the home ministers.
Burial will be at Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
