Obituary of Danielle S. Dana
Danielle Saveria Dana was born on April 7, 1973 to Stanley and Isabell Mendrick. She passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Danielle (Dani) is survived by her devoted husband Frank, her loving son Colin and her beautiful daughters, Madigan and Reagan, her father Stanley Mendrick of Branchburg, sister Francesca Finegan and husband John, and nieces, Claire, Emilie, and Grace of Long Valley, her sister Cara Mendrick and nephews Aiden and Dylan of Branchburg, extended family and friends, her cherished animals Chloe, Louie and Bella. Dani is predeceased by her beloved mother, Isabell Saveria Mendrick.
Dani grew up in Branchburg. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology. Dani later chose a career in Pharmaceutical Marketing where her hard work and dedication earned her a role as Senior Director of Operations at Cardinal Health in Wayne, NJ. In 2011, she moved to Warren to raise her family, switching roles to focus on her children.
Dani was an amazing mom, wife, sister, aunt, niece and friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a great sense of style in her appearance and in her home. She also loved music, dancing, laughing, celebrating holidays, family traditions, Italy, and most of all, she adored being a mom to her three children, whom she loved so incredibly. Dani enjoyed spending summers at the Jersey Shore with her family. She was the host of countless summer vacations on Vance Ave. in Lavalette. Dani created beautiful memories for all of us to hold in our minds and hearts, memories that we will cherish forever. Her light will shine through her children. We will miss you, Mom, Dani, and Aunt Dani. Forever with us.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren, followed by interment at St. Teresa's Cemetery in Summit, NJ.
