Danielle Herard Obituary
81, of Hope, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at RI Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Christian Herard. Born in Cavaillon, Haiti, she was the daughter of Pierre Verpil and Emma (Torchon) Verpil.
In Haiti, after completing her high school level education, Danielle earned a degree at the Hospital Immaculate Conception School of Nursing of Cayes, and then worked as a nurse in Port-au-Prince before emigrating to the United States.
Besides her husband Christian, Danielle is survived by her loving children, Dominic Herard of Cranston, and Christine Herard of Scituate. She was the dear sister of Guy Verpil and the late Philippe Verpil.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10:00 am in Ss. John & James Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Visit NardolilloFH.com for online condolences.
