Danny Ambrose Obituary

Danny was born May 23, 1960 in Ruston to Nellie and Emory Ambrose, and he passed away February 11, 2023 in Haughton, LA. He had four children: Jeromy, Brooke, Blake and Amy. Danny was a well-known mechanic, musician and Harley Davison enthusiast. He owned a mechanic shop in Ruston for many decades. Not only was Danny an amazing mechanic, he was a jack of all trades. There wasn't a thing that he could not repair. Danny played bass guitar in a band called The Backroads. He had a passion for music. Danny loved classic rock and had stacks of DVDs of concerts that he would watch on repeat. If you knew him, you knew of his love of Harley Davison. Danny was always riding one and was never without a Harley cap or shirt. He was truly an incredible man and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Danny was preceded in death by his father and son Blake.
Danny is survived by his mother; brother Kenny; sister Annette; children: Jeromy, Brooke and Amy; four grandchildren; special friend Linda Wilhite; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Pixley, Donny Modest, Robbie Smith, Larry Caldwell, Sr., Joe Lee and Terry Barnett.
Visitation will be 8:30-10:00 AM, Friday, February 17, 2023 at the funeral home.
