Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberson Funeral Home - Bethany on Dec. 11, 2025.
Danny Joel Booth died December 2, 2025, at his home in Kissee Mills, Missouri. He had bravely confronted multiple health issues for several years. Danny was born on September 13, 1943 in
Bethany, Missouri and married his college sweetheart, Mary Grace Davis, in 1967. Together, they raised two children. His family knows he is with his Lord now. He was a longtime believer and served as a deacon at one time. Amazingly, he kept all of his childhood Sunday School "perfect attendance" records (still in their home's attic much to Mary's chagrin!).
After graduation from CMSU in 1966 with a Business Administration Degree, he began a career which focused on the wholesale electric industry. Upon graduation he started with 3M company as a sales rep and future successes included a position as sales manager at Western Extralite in Kansas City, Missouri. Realizing his dream of owning his own company did follow with the establishment of Enterprise Electric, also in Kansas City, Missouri.
The final years of his career came after his and Mary's move to Galena, Missouri (Tablerock and Branson area) in 1992. Following this move, he began building his own dream Tablerock lakefront home. A home he designed and built as the general contractor. Neighbors were so impressed with the home he built for him and Mary that word spread about his building skills. He ended his career building beautiful lake homes for others in that community.
Danny's story would not be complete without including his military service. His Air Force Reserve Unit was the only reserve unit activated during the Vietnamese War, the same war where his brother Jim's plane was shot down and Jim was never found. Additionally, his brother John Booth served an exemplary military career during World War Il where there is another story of a brave soldier. Dan, like all of the Booth family, love and cherish the privilege of being an American. Four of the Booth men had a pilot's license, including Dan. If you were at a Booth family dinner and a plane flew over, everyone had to go outside just to have the joy of seeing a plane in the air.
Family for Papa Dan was important. He loved watching the activity of busy grandkids and teaching them about putting things together. Building bird houses, putting together planes, and carving pumpkins was fun for him. However, his biggest temptation was to take over and "make it perfect."
He is survived by his spouse of 58 years, Mary; two children, Charlyn Badley of Lampe, MO and Nicole (Joe) Williams of Collins, MO; Grandchildren, Heather (James) Presley and Desi Rodman; and great grandchildren, Mason Presley and Zeke Presley. Additional survivors are very special family, nieces, and nephews from his and Mary's families.
Preceding family members include, grandson, Kolby Chamberlain; parents, William and Icy Booth; brothers, Jerry, John, Charles, Jim, and Jack; and sisters, Helen Booth, Louise VanHoozer, and Betty Jo Long.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Miriam Cemetery in
Bethany, Missouri. Memorials and contributions are suggested to the
Samaritan's Purse. Online condolences can be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
