Danny Michael Engle

Danny Micheal Engle, 63, left us too soon on December 14, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 12, 1962. He was raised by his parents Millard and Leona Engle in Louisville KY. He came to Texas as a young adult with his lifelong friend Dennis Smith. He met Diana, his wife in later years, they married in 2013. He was the father of Michael and Steven. He was a stepfather, grandfather, son-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and good friend to many.

Danny served his entire life. His career spanned as a Houston Firefighter and Paramedic. He then became a Harris County Deputy Sheriff and retired as a Sergeant in 2020. He was a Boy Scout Leader with Michael and Steven. Danny enjoyed entertaining people. He looked for the best in everybody. He loved letting the kids tube on the lake. Danny loved camping, boating and hanging out with family. He lived life to the full and was always ready to pull out with a loaded boat,RV,wave runners, and utility trailer, to form a parade, for a visit to the lake.

Danny is preceded in death by his father and mother, Millard and Leona.

He is survived by his wife Diana, sons Michael and Steven, step daughters Katlyn Villarreal and Danielle (Eric) Schultz and grandchildren Clara and Logan Schultz.
