Danny Keith Faulk

Danny was born on October 8, 1953, to Neil Jackson Faulk (Jack) and Verneille Smith Faulk (Vicki). He grew up in Charlotte, NC early in his childhood but quickly moved to Indian Trail, NC.
Danny graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1971. He attended Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) where he received his certificates in Diesel Mechanics. After finishing CPCC, he went to work for IF Engineering in Charlotte, NC where he remained until he retired after 45+ years.
Danny spent many years being involved with Indian Trail Athletic Association (ITAA) as a coach, board member, and a volunteer. These years were spent with wonderful people and very cherished memories. The impact that ITAA and the people had on his life was immeasurable. The memories are still talked about to this day!
Whether it is a picnic shelter late in the evening or his carport at the beach, he could always be found talking and laughing with someone. Danny was known for his outgoing, kind, never met a stranger personality.
Once he retired from IF Engineering, he, and wife Sandra moved to their place in heaven. That is Oceanside Village (OSV) in Surfside Beach, SC. He immediately took to this place and wanted to be involved in making an impact. He became District representative for his area, oversaw neighborhood watch, volunteering whenever and wherever anything was needed, and loved helping cook hotdogs by the pool in the summer while talking to every single person. He loved his Wednesday morning breakfast with locals and Snowbirds. As they may merely be passing through, he felt as if he was meeting longtime friends and really cherished their time together. OSV just like ITAA has made an immeasurable impact on his life.
While Danny has been fighting some health issues these past few years, he never faltered from being "Danny" and still making the best of what was in front of him. He is survived in death by his wife of 45 years, Sandra Faulk, his brother, Gary Faulk & wife Barbara Faulk, his son Christopher Faulk & wife Ashley Faulk, his daughter Kimberly Stengel & husband John Stengel, his grandkids Meghan Stengel, Katelyn Faulk, Jack Stengel, Laysen Peeterse, Jack Faulk, John Faulk, and Landon Stengel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at OSV on 3/23/24, 1pm at the Community Center and a date will be announced soon for a celebration in Indian Trail. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to send donations to ITAA and/or OSV Entertainment committee.
