Danny Forrest Obituary
Danny was one of 13 children born to the late Mary Ella (Poynter) and Ernest Welby Forrest in Edmonton, KY. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, and retired from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Anthony Forrest, and 8 brothers, and sisters, and grandchild, Nicholas Delane.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lynn (Bryant) Forrest; children, Christa Thompson (Demond), Byron Forrest (Elrion); Aaron Forrest (Macy), and Thomas Forrest (Brittney); grandchildren, Christian, Anthony, Matthew, Rion, Jackson, Georgia, Rylan, Hailey, Joel, Hunter, Cameron, and Chloe; brothers, Jimmie Forrest (Diane), and Dale Forrest; sisters, Lora Belle Froedge, and June Hayden, and BBN Brothers, D.J., Donnie Ray, Kirk, Mike, Owen, and Harold.
His visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, and 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
His funeral will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home.

I remember Danny from working with him @ Hillerich & Bradsby in the Golf dept when they moved to Southern Indiana....I remember him being a HUGE Ky. Wildcat fan !! My prayers are with the family for healing, comfort, & peace during this time.......( Mike Givans )
