Danny Eugene Goble was known for many things. He was a musician, a city police officer, a carpenter, a plumber, an electrician, a bus driver, a coal miner, and most importantly, a man who deeply loved and served God. He had a special love for flying, but his greatest roles were husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Danny spent many years playing and mastering the steel guitar, he took his love for music and traveled to many churches to serve God and share his talent with others. He was a skilled craftsman, and his work can be seen in many homes, businesses, and other structures throughout West Virginia and Kentucky. There was no structure he could not build or fix. Everything he worked on was built as though he were building for himself, he built it to last.
Danny leaves behind a faithful and loving wife and many others who loved him dearly.
"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." To quote one of his favorite songs, "Go rest high on that mountain, son your work on earth is done. Go to heaven a-shoutin', love for the Father and the Son."
