I apologize for not making the service today...Medical issues prohibited me being there...Danny and I played a lot of golf over the past 30 years at the "Creek"...He was always one of the most talented people I had the pleasure to play golf with...His dry sharp sense of humor would always keep you on your toes either in conversations or while playing...It's my opinion that his love and passion for the game was only exceeded by his love and passion for his family...To Shane and Todd, I hurt for you...to the family I hurt for you...
I was reminded by Johnny Kale the other day that if Danny could have stretched his length off his tee ball to match the length of time he could nurse a cup of coffee no-one would have had a chance to beat him...
Danny, my friend...You are going to be missed...

A tribute to Mr. Harvell, though we never met, I had the pleasure of working with his son Shane. If Shane is an example of Mr. Harvell, I am sad I didn't have the opportunity to have met him. My deepest condolences to the family.
May his memory be Eternal.
