Danny Heintz, 77, of Depauw, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1947 in Palmyra, Indiana to the late Calvin and Mary Belle Heintz.
He was a very skilled mechanic and carpenter. He loved working on cars and lawnmowers. He could fix anything and loved making things out of wood and building things.
Along with his parents, his family already in Heaven include his loving ex-wife, Becky Heintz; a brother, Lanny; his son, Darrick; and his grandchildren, Layla, Levi, Annie, and Kaylan.
Waiting to meet Danny in Heaven are his daughters, Dannielle Dowell (Matt) and Devin Heintz (Charles); grandchildren, Kristopher, Matthiew, Nickolaus, Evan, Emily, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Charles Jr.; great-grandchild, Holden; brother, Tony (LeAnna); and his niece and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in accordance with Danny's wishes.
