Danny Ray Hooten Sr., age 68, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Mr. Hooten was born on February 20, 1956, in East St. Louis, IL to the late Perry Lee Hooten and the late Dorothy Mae Hollowell Hooten. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Kay Rhodes, and a grandchild, Rowan Wood. Mr. Hooten was a retired Paramedic with West Tennessee Health Care. Danny loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church. He was a decades long faithful public Servant of Benton County as a police officer and paramedic. He was a talented musician who was loved by all who knew him.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matthew Greer officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
