Also surviving are three daughters, Dawn (John) Henderson of Cuba, Leslie Shockency of Canton, Amanda (Damon) Beekman; one son, Josh (Rachel) Link of Knoxville; three sisters, Kathy (Ronnie) Beckner, Sally Link, Dixie Donaldson; one brother, Jack (Debbie) Link, and eleven grandchildren, Logan, Hayden, Olivia, Landon, Jake, Allison, Brock, Penelope, Juniper, Georgie, and Caroline.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Lisa Link; and one great-granddaughter, Sonny Link.
Danny enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He absolutely loved being with his family and grandkids. He was a member of Fin and Feather Lake.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. To leave an online condolence you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com

My condolences to the family of my cousin Danny link. Far too many years have passed since life happened limiting our opportunities to revive the cousin relationships of our youth. I include not only my relationship with Danny but also his brother and sisters Jack, Kathy, Dixie and Sally. While our contact during our adult years have been far too few, I have often recalled memories of our family visits to Ellisville.
I was saddened to learn from my sister Midge of Danny´s passing on Christmas day. My attempt to contact the family has been limited to a phone number Midge had for Jack and Deb. Unfortunately, that number is no longer in service. I would be honored to attend the celebration of life of Danny. I can be contacted by email, [email protected].
