Danny Lee Long Sr.

My condolences to all of Dan's family. I was so saddened to recently learn of Dan's passing and am still in shock. I first met Dan when we were both 12 years old at Weeks Jr High School in 1978 when we sat near each other due to our last names both starting with L and we were friends from then on. When we were teenagers Dan along with his brothers were among the most popular guys in our group of friends and he always seemed to have a smile on his face. He had a great sense of humor and often made us laugh at just about anything. Although it has been many years since we last seen one another I will always consider Dan as a close friend and will forever cherish my memories of him. I seldom drink alcohol anymore although I will definitely be having a beer for my friend and making a toast in his memory very soon. RIP Danny RIP
