Danny McCullough, age 77, of Gallatin, peacefully departed this world on Thursday, May 7, 2025. He was born in Portland, Tennessee, on May 19, 1947. Danny worked as an interior home painter; he was not only skilled, but he also enjoyed his work. Danny was a man his family could count on; he was always there to help his brothers and sisters. He absolutely adored his daughter, to which he was both mom and dad. As a father, Danny prioritized spending quality time with the children he was raising. He spent countless hours taking trips to Laguardo, Old Hickory Lake, and playing golf. Danny’s memory will be truly cherished, and he will be dearly missed by many.
Richard “Danny” Daniel McCullough is survived by his loving daughter, Kyleigh McCullough; sisters, Mattie Carter, Shirley Richards; brothers, Michael Lee McCullough, Rex McCullough; a nephew he raised as his own, Kevin Sims; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann McCullough; son, Danny McCullough; father, Fred L. McCullough; mother, Mary Louise (Pruitt) McCullough; as well as his brothers, Johnny McCullough, and Marshall McCullough.
Visitation with the McCullough family will take place at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, beginning at 1:00 P.M. and will continue until time of the memorial service at 3:00 P.M.
