Danny Philpot Obituary
Danny was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Cammie Hurst and Mabel Correll Philpot, and his loving wife, Patricia Ann Philpot. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Rennae Philpot and Danielle Snellen, alongside her husband, Billy. His joy and love will live on in the lives of his adored grandchildren, Katie Leanne Snellen and Lainey Snellen.
After serving his country with honor in the Vietnam War with the Navy, Danny dedicated his career to working at Sherwin Williams until retirement. He was a member of Liberty Avenue Baptist Church.
Danny was happiest outdoors, whether meticulously caring for his yard or embracing the tranquility of the lake in his boat. His passion for nature was only matched by his love for his cats, Hero and Fido, whom he pampered and adored.
The family will be accepting friends from 4 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday evening at Lakes Funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be left for the family at www.lakesfuneralhome.com
