He was born August 8, 1963, in Norwalk to his parents, Douglas Resor Sr and Charlotte (Myers) Resor. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School and enjoyed spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren. He worked over 25 years at Janesville and retired in August 2025 from Borgers in Norwalk. He enjoyed riding his trike motorcycle, camping, fishing, and the outdoors.
He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Resor; children, Stacy (Chad) Willgrube of Huron and Amy Resor of Norwalk; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Marissa, Julianna, Mason, Madyson, Emily, Hadley and Grayson; brothers, Douglas (Pattie) Resor Jr, Ricky (Katie) Resor, Sandy (Keith) King, and Jimmy (Becky) Resor; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Resor Sr; and his brother, Florian "Red" Resor.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Word of Grace Church, 2532 US Route 250, Norwalk, OH.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
