In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Rhodes Tomlin, granddaughter Farrah Rhodes, and his brother John David Rhodes.
Survivors include his son, Danny "Boy" Rhodes and wife Shelly Loftus of Henderson; devoted mother of his children, Sherry Sanders of Henderson; brothers, Rudy Rhodes and wife Pam of Henderson, Ronnie Gressett of Henderson, and Gary Bell and wife Teresa of San Augustine; sisters, Martha Rhodes of Henderson, and Carmen Ramona Vandre; his best friend, Robert Gleason of Henderson; 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Rhodes is pending with Crawford-A.Crim Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Gleason, Justin Phillips, Shawn Rainwater, Jagger Tomlin, Canyon Rhodes, and Mason Henderson.
