Danny Ray Richard Sr., was the sixth child of twelve born to the late McKinley Richard Sr. and Arlean Bailey on May 27, 1968, in Oakdale, Louisiana. Danny graduated from
Jasper High School in 1988. He became a Millwright at LP. Danny met and married Belinda Garrett on October 15, 1996, and to this union they welcomed five children.
On November 16, 2025, God sent his angels to take him home. He was preceded in eternal rest by his father McKinley Richard; his Mother Arlean Richard; his son Darion Richard his brother Eric Richard and his nephew Phillip Richard.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 29 years Belinda Richard; children Gelesia Garrett (Travis), Danny Jr. (Trequoi), Roshun (Uylisa) and Dymond; siblings Larry, Mckinley Jr. (Cherrie), Letha Watts (Floyd), Ricky (April, Barbara, Tony (Regina), Fredrick, Tammy Moss (Christopher), Carrie, Brad, Amie, Joseph ,Nikki, Milton grandchildren Dariona, Tiana, Jaydan, Jahzara, Kaci, Jase, Achari, Roshun Jr., Umareya and Mayson; uncles; aunts; nephews; nieces; cousins; other relatives and friends. We thank God for allowing Danny to be in our lives, and though he will miss his presence, we know with certainty that being absent from the body is being present with the
Lord.
