Danny Lee Rolfe

Danny Lee Rolfe, 59 of Stoneham Maine passed away March 21, 2026. Danny was born on October 31, 1966, to Harold and Linda Rolfe in Norway Maine.

Danny graduated from Fryeburg Academy class of 1985. He was always a hard worker who was never without a job. Doing various odd jobs as a young boy. After graduating high school, he immediately went to work for various companies driving truck.

Danny had a love for Alaska. In his early years he spent a summer in Alaska helping build the Haul Road. Later in life he returned to Alaska for the summers driving truck, making friends and memories until he decided he didn't want to miss out on spending time with his grandsons who were his entire world. Which then led him to start his own company Rolfe Property Maintenance that he was extremely proud of.

Danny was a loving bubba, father, fiancé, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to spend time with his family and playing with his grandsons. No matter where he went, he was sure to run into someone he knew. He was a man that loved to sit and talk. You could often find him telling stories at local establishments.

He is survived by his father Harold (Darlene) Rolfe, mother Linda (Gibby) Rolfe, fiancé Pamela McAlister, daughter Abby Rolfe (Madison), sisters Lorrie (Chris) Hatstat, Jackie Morin (John), Laurie (Sean) Herndon, Jennifer (Joe) Bassett, grandsons Wyatt and Arnold Jedrey, mother in law Marie McAlister, brother in law Mike McAlister, nieces Baylee Hatstat, Savanna and Alyssa Morin, nephew Brennan Hatstat, many other nieces and nephews and a ton of friends that were considered family.

Danny is predeceased by his grandparents Winfield and Ella Rolfe, his grandmother Marion Kimball, his stepmother Mary Rolfe, his aunt Margaret Pike, his uncle Michael Rolfe, and his father-in-law Ed McAlister.

Wherever Danny went there was always a story to be told or a friend to be made. So please come and celebrate his life and share your favorite Danny story at The Fryeburg Fair Expo Center on May 2nd at 11am. Memories and condolences may be shared with his family on his tribute wall.
