Danny Ray Sprouse

Mr. Danny Ray Sprouse, 46, of Morganton, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Grace Hospital following a brief illness. Danny was born on August 10, 1966 in Burke County to Durline Buff Sprouse and the late David Robert Sprouse. He was a member of Faith Temple Tabernacle Church in Morganton and was previously employed at Ferguson Copeland Furniture Company. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, David R. Sprouse, Jr. and a sister, Della Christine Eaststep. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Melton Sprouse of the home, three children, Victor Ray Sprouse and wife Christy, Brian Robert Sprouse and Brandon Lee Sprouse. Also surviving are two sisters, Dinah Kay Duncan, and Doris Maelene Boone and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith Tabernacle Church in Morganton with John Harden and Rev. Julius Lowery officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services in the church sanctuary.
