Mr. Danny Jeffery Stallard

Mr. Danny Jeffery Stallard, age 38, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN, after a long battle with lung cancer for which all though he kept a positive outlook on life. He was born November 7, 1972 in Dalton, GA, where he lived all his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the mountains, and riding his 4-wheeler. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Claude and Ella Stallard, H. H. and Rossie Cline, uncles Clifford H.“Duke� Stamper who meant the world to him, Charles Cline, cousin David Stallard. He is survived by his parents, Danny and Ada Stallard; brother, Jeremy Stallard of Dalton, GA; nephew, Benjamin Keith Stallard of Nashville, TN; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Danny had no children of his own, he loved and cherished his two dogs as if they were his own, Star his little baby and Cocoa his big baby. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Danny Jeffery Stallard will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home. Mr. Stallard will be laid to rest at the United Memorial Gardens. Jeremy Stallard, Roger Cantrell, Raymond Cantrell, Dean Stamper, Eddie Cline and Woodrow Wilson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
