Danny Taft Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park on Dec. 27, 2024.
Danny Ray Taft June 25, 1960 - December 24, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Danny Taft, age 64 of Cedar Park, passed away
Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was born on June 25, 1960 to Donna Landrum and Robert
Taft in San Angelo, Texas. Danny will always be remembered as an industrious person who
always carried a strong work ethnic (sometimes too much), a loving husband and a good father
who was always willing to lend a hand. He was such a vital part of our lives. He was so loved
and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Charmeine Taft; his daughters Jessica
Dankworth and husband Mario, Jennifer Lipham and husband Zach; and grandson Bradley
Dankworth; and granddaughters Mariah Haas, Chloe Lipham, Scarlett Dankworth, Jolene
Lipham. Danny's legacy continues through these 5 grandchildren who will carry his spirit and
values. Growing up in Blytheville, Arkansas and the memories he shared with family and
friends (Ann, Leann, Steve) will forever hold a special place in his heart. He did have a chance
to meet lost family later in life (Robbie Ruff, Tammy, Sam and Brenda) and the connection they
made was special to him.
He was the most industrious man we have ever met and his commitment to excellence in his
work was matched only by his dedication to ensuring his family had everything they needed.
Danny was a man of many interests and hobbies. He cherished gatherings with family &
friends, often centered around a good barbeque. His love for classic cars was well-known, with
a particular fondness for Camaros and a strong Chevy truck. Danny enjoyed playing washers
and pool, always ready for a friendly competition where his quick wit and sarcastic humor could
shine through. Though he had a loving nature, it was often accompanied by a playful jab,
making those moments even more memorable. His presence will be deeply missed by all who
knew him.
A simple memorial will be held in his honor on January 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at Central Texas
Cemetery in Killeen, Tx. Danny Taft will forever be remembered as a devoted husband and
father, a skilled craftsman, and friend to many people. May he rest in peace knowing the love
he shared will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
